Disillusionment
Being aware of the metaphysics can help keep the next phase, which is often a period of disillusionment, gentle and quick. It is seeing that everything that was thought to be true is false. This is a necessary step to be able to accept the plan for Awakening, as orchestrated by the Holy Spirit. It is sometimes shocking and disturbing, but this is only from the ego's point of view, which must be faced and walked through.

Attempted Learning
In this clip from the movie, The Island, the two main characters learn that all of their believed memories are false. All of their perceptions of reality were learned. In the world, images are truly not understandable, no matter how good we become at learning them.

Our part is to be willing to look upon these deeply held beliefs and layers of conditioning with the Holy Spirit, so they can be released. The path of Awakening with A Course in Miracles is through the mirroring of relationships and learning to take full responsibility for sight. When the time is right, mighty companions will be by your side!
